Nice place with wonderful view of the Marina. We had guacamole and Ahi tuna tostadas for appetizers. I really recommend the Ahi tuna. We tried the grouper del sol stuffed with three crab, shrimp, and scallop. The sauce was very tasty I recommend getting it stuffed with only one of them. We tried also the surf and turf. The portion was small only 4 shrimps. The steak wasn’t cooked very well. We had Crispy Brussels sprouts and fried cauliflowers for sides and both were nice. The must try is the churro very fresh and makes great combination with ice cream. BIG SHOUT OUT to Fernando for giving us Top notch service, Thank you!

We had dinner at this place last night and the food was delicious. It’s clearly an American-style restaurant serving Mexican cuisine. Our server was very efficient, and the atmosphere was pleasant. we missed chips and spicy sauce while we waited!

Good food. The shrimp ceviche was excellent, fresh, and flavorful. Mexican Caesar was great too, the unique cornbread croutons were worth coming back for. Hands down best part was the key lime pie. I’ve tried them from all over, Florida, the Northeast, Carribean, and this one in my opinion ranks top 4, it’s very very good. I hear it’s from another restaurant below, but the sunset view was worth coming here to eat the pie. The lime on the meringue was a first but very good. Will definitely return for another piece, as well as to try some other menu items and catch a better sunset. While I walked here, parking seemed easy if you took a car.

Marina Cantina was honestly our best food find in the Clearwater area. The fish tacos, shrimp tacos, guacamole, and chicken skewer starter were all packed with flavor — the kind where you keep eating even when you’re full. The tacos especially were really good, and I’d come back just for those. That said, a few things knocked it down from a 5-star experience. Service was slow — guacamole and chips took over 15 minutes, and the tacos were closer to 25-30 minutes. For a casual taco spot, that’s a long wait. The restaurant was busy, but still. Location is a bit tricky too — it’s on the second floor with an entrance next to the gift shop, so factor in some extra time finding it. Drinks were decent but nothing memorable. A couple of other things worth flagging: they were out of grouper and substituted snapper without adjusting the price, which felt off since snapper is generally the less expensive fish — they should have reflected that at the register. And there’s a 3% credit card surcharge, which feels unnecessary given the price point. At these prices, that cost should just be built in. Food alone, this is easily a 4.5. I went to marina cantina with my friend and grandmother for a casual Tuesday night dinner. We got the nachos, chicken enchiladas, tequila salmon, and shrimp and scallop ajillo, crispy cauliflower, and churros. It was hands down the best dining experience start to finish I’ve had in years. We arrived without a reservation and were given a 10% discount to go to bar and grab cocktails before being seated— which were excellent as well! Our server Gaze was fantastic. She gave excellent recommendations, was very attentive, and friendly. Made the whole experience 10/10.
